While no two days are the same, a sample day on a supported tour will include a leisurely breakfast over good coffee prior to the morning cycle with a road-side morning tea breaking up the journey. After a tasty lunch at a country café, farm or off-road picnic, the afternoon’s cycling may include a visit to talk with an orchard or gallery owner. Arrival at the nights’ accommodation with plenty of time to explore the local village/town prior to dinner at a well-regarded local eatery. Orange Regional Discovery Tour

It is a ‘must do’ for those who love cycling on the road less travelled across a wide variety of landscapes. Highlights include a day soaking up the vibrant spa town of Daylesford; lunch with a lovely farmer; meeting an eclectic artist, and exploring Castlemaine, a mecca for characters with an artistic and cultural bent. These experiences contrast nicely with exploring gold relics around Maldon and marvelling at the heritage buildings of a more prosperous time at Maryborough.
Sweden Kattegat Coastal Cycle Tour

This is a unique European 8-day tour built around Sweden’s Kattegat Coastal Cycle Path; voted Europe’s best cycle route in 2018. The tour commences in wonderful Copenhagen with a train transfer to Helsingborg in Sweden where the cycling holiday commences. Over 6 days cycle 350-400 kms to the journeys end and 2 nights in Gothenburg, Sweden’s second largest city. Enjoy beautifully varied scenery and history dating back to the iron age. Italy Ciociaria Gourmet Cycle Tour

Cycle Distance and Preparation
Cycle distances for 6 or 7 day tours are mostly around 40-60kms per day allowing for a relaxed pace and lots of time for off-bike activities and rest. Good aerobic fitness will ensure your cycling enjoyment combined with specific ‘cycling fitness’. Cycle regularly before the tour and get ‘saddle conditioned’ to be on a bike seat for up to 6 hours over the duration of the day.
Confidence to ride on roads shared with two-way car and truck traffic is needed. While approximately 80% of each tour is on quiet back roads, rail trails or dirt roads; there are times when relatively busier main roads are used.
Small Group Sizes and Logistics
1 day Sydney Cycling Tours have a min. group size of 2 and max. of 4. Sydney Cycling Tours are lead by a qualified local guide. Clients ride quality Moustache e-bikes and enjoy a waterside restaurant lunch. 3 to 7 day self-guided tours have a minimum group size of 2. The core inclusions for these tours are accommodation, baggage transfers and detailed trip notes/maps. 6 to 9 day set departure supported tours have a min. group size 5 or 6 and a max. group size of 10. On supported tours core inclusions are accommodation; most meals, visits to attractions including galleries, farms and wineries; back up vehicle (with knowledgeable driver) carrying luggage; spare bikes, on-route purchases and even clients wishing to have a break from cycling plus detail trip notes/maps. These include a thorough outline of each day’s itinerary, what to bring and how best to prepare for the tour; joining instructions and other information to help make your participation as enjoyable and rewarding as possible. Should a tour be cancelled or postponed due to insufficient numbers you will receive a full refund or you can transfer the funds to another departure date.
