JAPAN GOURMET CYCLE TOUR

CO-HOSTED GUIDED

This gourmet cycling tour builds on the formula of our Italy tour.  Another unique collaboration; in this instance with Risa and Aaron, owner/operators of the 2 Hatted Kadota Japanese restaurant in Daylesford Victoria. Risa is originally from Japan. Aaron, the master Japanese chef. Both share a passion for Japanese culture and cuisine. This 7-night tour commences in Osaka with a Speed (Shinkansen) train ride to Risa’s old hometown Okayama with 2 days to discover its cultural, culinary and cycling delights. Visit the amazing Naoshima (Art) Island and cycle one of Japan’s signature rides; the Shimanami Kaido Cycle Route. Cycle in Hiroshima and visit Miyajima Island, a Unesco World Heritage Site. The final 2 nights are in Japan’s cultural capital Kyoto, with carefully curated cycling, cultural and gourmet experiences.

The tour includes 7 nights 3-4 star accommodation (Okayama 2, Uno Port 1, Onomichi 1, Hiroshima 1, Kyoto 2); most meals, touring or e-bikes, detailed tour notes, train and bus travel. Max. Group Size 10 plus hosts.
